What is Progressive Vision?

Progressive Vision is an independent campaigning think tank, dedicated to promoting personal freedom through advocation of classical liberal policies in Britain. We believe that a dramatic expansion of personal freedom would not only lead to more fulfilling lives for individual men and women, but also to a more peaceful, tolerant and wealthier society. Progressive Vision campaigns to restore personal freedoms to the British public, to reverse the expansion of the state, and promote takeup of classical liberal policies in all spheres of legitimate public life. The state has grown to a size hitherto unprecendented in peacetime Britian. Advocates of a left wing ‘progressive’ agenda maintain that the only solutions are government funded solutions. Politicians of all stripes are increasingly turning only to interventionist strategies as solutions.
