MEDIA RELEASE: FAILURE OF OUT-OF-HOURS CARE SHOWS NHS IS FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED

Responding to today’s report from the Royal College of Physicians that out-of-hours care is failing, Shane Frith, Director of Progressive Vision, said:
“The government’s continual boasts about the huge sums of money they have poured into the NHS simply underlines how fundamentally flawed our health service really is. Its clunking, inflexible and out-dated nature means that the British people will continue to receive second-rate health care, irrespective of the vast amounts of money thrown at it. The NHS is deeply flawed. We must consider alternative ways of delivering health care, such as the health savings accounts used in Singapore.”
